Jahvid Best Injured
California tailback Jahvid Best suffered a concussion and was taken to the emergency room after he leapt into the air, flipped over a defender and lost consciousness after landing on the back of his head in the end zone.
Coach Jeff Tedford has confirmed that initial test have come back normal.
Best had movement in his extremities, spokesman Herb Benenson said. Benenson also stated that a preliminary evaluation showed Best had suffered concussion.
More tests will be completed before a final diagnosis willbe announced by the school. Tedford didn’t know whether Best would be kept in the hospital over night.
Best’s helmet came off on impact. He vaulted into the air over the Safety’s Cameron Collins on the 7-yard touchdown run.
Best’s jersey was removed and he was wearing an oxygen mask when carted out of the stadium. Benenson said Best was taken to an emergency room for observation and examination.
Best missed Tuesday and Wednesday’s practice sessions with a slight concussion sustained in the team’s 23-21 win at Arizona State last Saturday, but participated in full during Thursday’s workout. The concussion wasn’t diagnosed right away.

Moscow Halo Cloud
A bizarre weather phenomenon occurred in Moscow a few days ago, a cloud nicknamed the hole-punch-cloud which appeared to be a supernatural phenomon was spotted and videotaped, the footage has made headlines around the world and really its not that much of a strange phenomon.
It is simply a hole punch cloud, which is a cloud which appears to have a ‘hole’ in it and is caused by ice crystals being changed by a jet passing throught the cloud.

not an awful lot of difference to me, but there are conspiracy theories going around all over the joint aaaaaah the aliens are invading!!!!! pfff unless the fly jets through clouds to invade then they most certainly are not!
David Carradine Found Dead
David Carradine was found dead in his bangkok hotel room on Thursday morning (4/6/09) where he was working on a new movie.
The much loved actor played the role of Kwai Chang Caine in the 70′s tv series “Kung Foo” and was the villain in “Kill Bill” Vol 1 and 2
It has been reported he was found naked by a hotel maid in a wardrobe with a cord around his neck and other parts of his body, And a Thai newspaper has reported that the police beleive the cause of death was suicide.
Carradine was an accomplished musician, musical performer,composer and songwriter. According to his official website, he was also a sculptor and a painter.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Bierman, and three children including actresses Calista and Kansas.
It is a sad day, as anyone that knew him was always given the impression that he was happy and full of life right up to the end.

Cavs Vs Magic
Well its Time for game 6 of the 2009 Eastern Conference Finals Cleveland Vs Orlando in the Amway arena in Orlando. Orlando leads the series 3-2.
If Orlando win, they will play the LA Lakers in the Finals, If Cleveland win, they will play Orlando again in Cleveland for game 7
At 1/4 time the score is 25-30 to the magic. Seems like a close match so far, Lebron James looking very dangerous, But so in Micheal Pietrus for the Magic.
Lebron gets rested for a bit at the start of the 2nd quarter.
The cavs cant seem to hit the broadside of a barn early in the second and are quickly down 25-37
Lebron James back in the game with 9 min to go in the 2nd.
the Cavs definitely look like they are feeling the pressure, still down by 10 with 5 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter.
3 to go in the 2nd and the cavs are looking shaky and are now down by 15 points.
Unless Lebron can show the Magic who is king, They are likely to be going home empty handed tonight, with the magic playing the lakers next thursday in the finals of the 2009 championship.
well at the end of the first half, the cavs are looking stressed and under a lot of pressure, down 40-58. They have a lot of hard work to do to bring this game home.
Lebron starts to turn it up early in the 3rd quarter with a 3 pointer to bring the score down to a difference of 11
Magic looking good for the win, 11 points up with under 3 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. But anything can still happen.
well at the end of the 3rd quarter, the cavs are still struggling and seem to be digging themselves even deeper with every passing minute!
The score is 70-86 yes, that is 16 points down with just 12 minutes of play left, doesnt look good for the Cavs.
The Magic quickly open the scoreboard up to 21 points with just 9 min 40 sec to go. They almost look unbeatable at this point.
just 5 min and 24 sec to go and the magic are still up by 16 pts
time is well and truly against the cavs now, just 3 minutes to go, with a 19 point difference.
Well At full time, the final score is Orlando magic up 103-90.
Lebron had a lukewarm game and is now going home with the Cavs out of the championship for 2009.
The Magic have lead for the entire game, never really giving the Cavs any chance to come back, far too strong. Should be an awesome series against the Lakers.

Cavs – Magic Game 6
The Cleveland Cavs are taking on the Orlando Magic in game 6 of the eastern conference finals at 8:30 tonight(EST) will the magic be off to play the Lakers in the finals or will Lebron (King) James get up and take the Cavs to the final game in the eastern conference?
Well thats as always at this end of the season a very hard question to answer.
Lebron is on fire, judging by game 5 but the Magic are very strongly in favour being at home to a packed stadium.
Its not going to be easy for the Cavs but anything can happen because it is do or die tonight.
